Current research
- developing methods of artificial micorhizal treatment of containerized nursery stock, planted in nutritious substrate to improve stability of forest stands (common spruce, common pine, common oak);
- scientific and methodological justification of using short rotation willow stands for bio-fuel production in European part of Russia;
- improving schemes of multirotation containerized planting stock growing in North-Western European part of Russia depending on equipment of summer type plastic-covered greenhouses;
- researching silvicultural and economical effectiveness of growing common oak ball-rooted nursery stock in Leningrad region;
- on-site supervision of technological schemes of growing containerized planting stock in a selection and seed-production center in Leningrad region.
