Representatives of the FBE "SPbFRI" participated in the XVI Petersburg International Forest Industry Forum

The XVI Petersburg International Forest Industry Forum "Russian Forest Week" took place in St. Petersburg during the period from September 30 to October 1, 2014.

The forum was supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency, the RAO Bumprom, the World Wide Fund for Nature of Russia. 

The RESTEK group of companies acted as the forum organizer.

The plenary session "Forest Industry complex. What is the growth potential?" took place in the program and there also were a number of conferences and round tables concerning forest management, bioenergetics, forest processing and woodworking. Within the frames of the "Certification and innovations in forestry" subject discussion of the round table the staff members of the FBE "SPbFRI" gave a speech:  Daniil Burtsev made the report on "Prospects of innovative products development in the field of forest renewal" and Oleg Vasilyev made the report on the subject of "The Design Principles and the Objects Organization of Infrastructure in Forestry".

The XVI Petersburg International Forest Industry Forum has been held since 1999 and is the largest project of the Russian Federation which unites a great number of experts, politicians, businessmen, economists, scientists and managers. The main purpose of the Forum is to provide the unique information on the industry sector, to give a "fresh" market review and to promote the forest complex development.
