International exposition “Russian Forest” is held in Vologda

From the 4th to 6th of December in Vologda, the International Exposition “Russian Forest” is held, that includes International Scientific and Technological conference “Actual Issues of Forest Complex Development”. The expo is held for the 18th time. This year, 22 regions of Russia and 20 foreign companies participate in the event. Delegations from Poland, Belarus and China have chosen to participate as guests from other countries.

Scientific and practical conference “FSFI “Wood Protection” – guarding the health of the forests for 75 years”

Federal State-Funded Institution “Russian Centre of Wood Protection” has completed 75 years. Jubilee events were held on the 28th of November, 2013 in Pushkino. These events included Scientific and Practical conference “FSFI “Wood Protection” – guarding the health of the forests for 75 years”.

Following people participated in the events: deputy minister and head of Federal Forestry Agency V.A. Lebedev, deputy heads, heads of Russian Agriculture Ministry and affiliate organizations.

Russian-Finnish Seminar was held at Saint-Petersburg Forestry Research Institute

On the 29th of November, 2013 a Russian-Finnish Seminar was held at Saint-Petersburg Forestry Research Institute in the form of a video conference. The goal of the Seminar is to build partner relations and search for collaboration modes between Russian and Finnish scientists in order to acquire new knowledge, develop technology and innovations, as well as for practical realization of scientific developments in areas of mutual interest.

На ученом совете ФБУ «СПбНИИЛХ», состоявшемся 22.10.2013 г., рассмотрен проект «Концепции международной деятельности ФБУ «Санкт-Петербургский научно-исследовательский институт лесного хозяйства». В документе отражены принципы, цели и задачи международной деятельности Института, указаны механизмы, основные направления и ожидаемые результаты реализации Концепции. После обсуждения, документ в целом был одобрен.
