The head of the FBE “SPbFRI” participated in the meeting of the Working group on steady forestry of the Russian-Finnish Intergovernmental commission

The head of the FBE “SPbFRI”  Vasilyev Igor Anatolyevich participated in the meeting of the Working group on steady forestry of the Russian-Finnish Intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation which took place on December 18, 2014 in the FAO " Russian Institute of Continuous Education in Forestry" (Pushkino, Moscow region).

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of A.V. Panfilov, deputy head of Rosleskhoz, and Yu. Oyal, head of the Natural Resources Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland.

Development prospects of cooperation between Russia and Finland in the sphere of bio-energetics, questions of "green economy" and export supply of the Russian wood to the markets of the European countries and others were discussed during the meeting.
